Cleveland Rams Down Chicago Bears

Big Upset in Professional Gridiron League

New York, Oct. 23.

A smashing upset featured play in the National Professional Football League today when the lowly Cleveland Rams speared the rush of the mighty Chicago Bears in a wild and woolly contest by a score of 23-21.

It was a game characterized by fluent scoring, dozens of forward and lateral passes, long distance gains on Sweeps around end and off tackle and bull-headed thrusts into the line by Bronko Nagurski and Big Ed over the new course.
