Shanghai, Aug. 17.
Charged with robbery and murder, Hsu Pao.sen was sentenced to death yesterday by the First Special Dis-net Court in connection with several armed crimes committed in the Set-Wement. Four accomplices drew pri-}son terms ranging from one year to seven years. Two pistols and ten cartridges used by the gang were 'Chu Chang-ching, who was charged with having repeatedly committed armed robberies, was sentenced to Seven years' imprisonment while 'Chu Chin-hsiang got six years. Two other men were given one year each, charged with possessing' military weapons which they intended to use for criminal purposes.
The five robbers were arrested by the Chengtu Road police last month ina series of raids.
