Huge demonstrations broke out in downtown Bucharest yesterday, reting in some rioting between pro-Carol and pro-Antonescu forces.

Fighting developed when crowds süpporting King Carol staged u counter demonstration against followers of the new Premier, General Victor Antonescu, who was made virtual dictator yesterday. The fight started in front of the National Theatre. The police finally dispersed the crowds at 9.35 p.m.
At 955, however, another demonstration began, with 1,000 men and women gathered in front of the right of the King's palace singing parti Tron Guard songs.
