Louza district was the scene of another shooting yesterday, shortly befor 5 p.m., but whether or not this toe had a political significance could not be definitely ascertained last. night. Two men, armed with military-type Mauser pistols, entered the offices of Mr. Z. Y. Wu, an aged Cantonese lawyer, at Room 312 Tai Woo Building, near Ningpo and Lloyd Roads. corner, at 445 p.m.
They opened fire on the inmates of the office, wounding two of Mr, Wu's junior assistants, Messrs, S. B. Dun and P, K. Fong, neither of them seriously.. Throwing down their weapons, the two men then fed, escaping before the arrival of the police.
Mr, Wu, who is a very prominent local Chinese lawyer, was at one time connected with Mr, Sun Fo, Latterly, however, his name has been linked with the possible candidates for a high post in che Central China Provisional Government
