The Spanish Republican Government has addressed a Note to the British Government asking for the dispatch of an International Commission to investigate the bombings Spain.
In the British view, learns Reuter's diplomatic correspondent, a reply must Brst be received from the Nether. lands, the fourth Power invited to participate in the work which it is proposed that the Commission should undertake.

Air-Raid on Sergorbe Madrid, July 1 It was learned here today that sixteen persons were killed and eighty injured when Nationalist planes raided Sergorbe. The town is situated twenty miles west of Sagunto.—Reuter.
