German Attack Expected London, Oct. 21.
The Allies still anticipate a German attack of "a really serious nature" on the Western Front, high military sources indicated today.
The objective of the latest German operations on the Western Front, they said, "is apparently to gain high ground for a further advance." They indicated that the German attack would probably proceed between Luxembourg and the bend in the Rhine. There was also the possibility of a move through Belgium, Holland, or Switzerland.
