Governor-General to Rule Under Fuehrer's Name, Berlin Regime Berlin, Oct. 25.
'The occupied regions in Poland will be placed under the Governorship of Dr. Herbert Frank, Minister without Portfolio, assisted' by Dr. Arthur Seys-Inquart, former Governor of Austria, who will have the rank of Vice-Governor, a decree appearing in the "Reichs Gesetzblatt" announced today.
The Governor-General will be directly under the orders of Herr Hitler himself. All branches of administration will be placed under the Governor-General's authority.
The legal code of the occupied territories will not be altered.
Several members of the Reich Council for the operation of the Four-Year Plan and the Governor-General have been invested with legislative power by the decree.
