It is believed that Hitler particularly is aiming at lining up the cor tinental powers to present a solid front to England when the time comes to arrange peace by a general compromise.
All persons of authority contacted by United Press insisted there had been no specific demands made by Hitler.
The French Vice-Premier and the Italian, Foreign Minister were said to have met yesterday, following the momentous talks Thursday -between Chancellor Adolf Hitler, Marshal Philippe Petain and M. Laval, The Führer, it was said, invited French collaboration. M. Laval then is said to have opened conversations with Count Ciano along similar lines.
