London, June 15.
Who will succeed Donald Budge as Wimbledon champion? Robert Riggs, America's No. 1, will rt favourite. I have not seen him Şlay, but I am much impressed by ti reports of Yeading English players who have measured themselves against him.
Charles Hare, the British Davis Cup player, has opposed Riggs twice. In the American championships Riggs won by 3 sets to 2, after the Englishman had been within 2 points of the match. On the other occasion Rare won. "But I would not like to back myself now," said Hare recently. He is my choice for the Wimbledon title."
