Competitors are divided into five according to the quotient system which involves height, weight and age. There has been an alteration in the method of awarding the Rotary Shield, symbolic of general championship, The winner will be decided by the aggregate points gained in each class instead of the total number of points obtained in the meeting.
The present holders of the Rotary Shield and the MacKenna Shield for the runner-up are the St, Francis Xavier's College and the Public and Thomas Hanbury School respectively, The events for the five classes are as follow:
