An identical note was presented to foreign embassies and legations in China by the Chinese Foreign Office today, and was simultaneously delivered to foreign governments through Chinese envoys, denouncing the regime inaugurated today in Nanking under Mr, Wang Ching-wei.
The note, signed by the Chinese Foreign Minister, Dr. Wang Chung-hui, describes the Nanking regime as "nothing more than a puppet organization created and controlled;|by Japanese militarists as an instrument for usurping China's sovereign rights and for destroying her independence and territorial and admini.
"It the new will also be used by the Japanese to overthrow international law and order, to nullify the Nine Power Treaty and to eliminate all commercial interests of "puppet" government as having lost "all sense of decency and patrioism," the note continues.
