The thrill of thrills was enacted at the Canidrome on Easter Monday when Lido staged a most sensational rally to beat Clube Lusitano and win the Skottowe Cup for the second time in two years by a score of 5-4. The Portuguese gained distinct advantage when the crack Chinese lost the services of their right half-back in the 20th minute, and were 4-1 ahead near the middle of the second half. Suddenly the champions came to life. They swept off the field like a hurricane and countered three goals in succession, there deadlocking the score at 4-all. The crowd of more than 12,000 were dazzled and the roared until Lido notched up their winning goal in the extra time to emerge victorious. The above pictures show some of the scenes within the Clube citadel, with v. K. Hyui playing an important part in tryifig to bring the Portuguese goal down (note the expressions of Marcal and Aquino), and also the jubilation of the crowd over Lido's remarkable comeback.
