Relations Reviewed

Anglo-Japanese relations during the past several years were outlined on Thursday by Sir Robert Craigie in an address before the Japan-British Society at a luncheon in the Imperial Motel.

Mr. Hachiro Arita, Japanese Foreign Minister, Prince Yasuhito Chichibu and Princess Setsuko Chichibu were nests of honour.

Reviewing the general trend of Anglo-Japanese relations during the past two and a half years, Sir Robert fold that no one could' deny that these years had been difficult, but that there was room for satisfaction in the good sense of the wisdom heir respective Governments, had prevented animosities of the moment from hardening into deep-seated ro-sentments or permanent estrangement.
