Paris, Oct. 23.
Unfounded German allegations that Poland had used poison gas during the Polish-German hostilities were categorically denied by the Polish Embassy here today. No supplies of poison gas had been received from Britain before the war, either, the Embassy stated.
The Embassy also sent a Note to the French Premier, M. Edouard Daladier, this afternoon to assert that the new Polish Government would not recognize the "plebiscite" organized by Soviet Russia in Soviet-occupied areas of Poland. The Polish Government, the Note said, would never agree to any plebiscite organized while the lands affected were under military occupation. Similar Notes were forwarded to all foreign Governments to whom Polish er.voys are accredited, it was learned.—Havas.
