Resources in U.S

Washington, Apr. 13.

British and French resources in the United States are sufficient to enable them to pay cash for purchases during hostilities lasting two years, according to Mr. Winthrop Case, editor of the "Annalist," who has prepared a complete estimate for the Foreign Policy Association.

Mr. Case values the gold and other British and French resources in the United States at between $11,500,000,000 and $14,000,000,000 and the obligations there of the two countries at about $4,500,000,000.—
