Peace Conference May Follow

London, May 28.

Britain may propose an international peace conference in Europe as soon as the new Triple Alliance involving Britain, France and the Soviet Union has been concluded, unconfirmed reports circulated in Parliamentary circles said last night.

After cementing the non-aggression front by concluding the forthcoming Triple Alliance, Britain may open negotiations with Germany to give Chancellor Hitler an opportunity to air his grievances again and seek a peaceful settlement of present Europ-can problems, the reports said.

"Meanwhile, Britain was understood to be planning to send a special military mission to Moscow in the near future to initiate general staff talks with the Red Army. A French mission also would visit Moscow at the same time to enable members of the new Triple Alliance to make a full survey of the various members' contributions to the general. antiaggression front—United Press.
