Inquiries are frequently made of the "North-China Daily News" as to whether photographers have been empowered by them to request sittings for the purpose of obtaining photographs for publication. In no instance is this done without providing the photographer with a written request from the "North-China Daily News" office, and in this event there is no obligation on the part of the sitter to purchase copies of such photographs; This opportunity is taken to thank those whó have kindly acquiesced in these requests, a courtesy which is greatly appreciated by the newspaper.
