Chungking, June 15.
Over.100 Japanese warships are concentrated along the Chekiang coast, including transports, cruisers and aircraft car~ Tiers, some of which are moving southwards, according to reliable information reaching here.
such a large concentration of warships cannot be directed against China, there is a strong belief here that the Japanese may launch a major move in the southern Pacific shortly. At least it is believed that Jupan will exert strong pressure again fon the Dutch East Indies in view of the apparent breakdown in negotiations between the two countries.—Reuter.
