Important Hair Nets

Headgear is important just now, and people are hesitating whether to cut their hair to more convenient proportions or in the event of a dearth of "perms" to allow it to grow long, so that it be bundled up more conveniently. Velvet caps are being made which come down well over the hair and into which top curls can be thrust easily. Probably one of the main head fashions will be the velvet or chenille net into which all back hair, whether long or short, can be conveniently thrust. Where the net is worn, the accompanying hat merely crowns the work and is pork-pie or a bow or a pyramid. The chenille net is becoming to a good many people and in black is distinctly flattering. A good ensemble for the evening is a long black velvet coat, cut like a cassock, and at need having a short black velvet cape. With a black velvet net on the hair, the wearer is neat, well dressed, and ready for a variety of occasions.
