Lord Halifax, British Ambassador sto the United States, arrived at the Cinera airport here today at 6.30 on_his way back to the United He will leave for New York shortly by Clipper plane, proceeding to Washington from that city.
Sir Samuel Hoare, British Ambassador, to Spain, arrived here today front Madrid, where he conferred, before he left, with General Francisco Franco, the Spanish Chief of State, and Senor Don Ramon Serrano Suner, the Spanish Foreign Minister.
Sir Samuel will leave for London tomorrow, and expects to remain in the British capital for a month before returning to his post in Madrid. -Havas Telemondial.
