Terrorists struck again in Shanghai last night when an unidentified lot and killed Mr. Moh Yeito bea member of the Wang ganization, just outside the Great China Hotel in Vu Ya Ching Road at about 11 p.m, Police investigations revealed that r. Moh was dining with a party of friends at the hotel and a little before 11 p.m. he decided to take a breath of fresh air. He sitting on the pavement, opposite the main entrance to the hotel, when a Chinese gunman opened fire at him. Three shots were fired and two bullets entered the victim's head, while the third one lodged in his arm.
The victim died instantaneously and the assassin, seeing his work done, beat a hasty retreat Up to an early hour this morning, no arrest had been made and S.M.P. detectives could not give a reason for the crime.
Chinese circles, however, were of different opinion since they claimed that the witness belonged to the Wang Ching-wei clique and was rumoured to be in charge of the mass movement for peace. He was also said to be connected with the Special Service Department of the Wang Ching-wei organization.
