"Blockade Runners"
Hongkong, Jan. 31.
Confirming earlier reports, the Imperial Airways liner Delia, which left Hongkong this morning, was üred on west of Waichow Island, in the Gulf of Tongking, according to a signal from her pilot, Captain Wilson. Warships anchored near the Island were said to have been responsible for the firing.
The Delia, apparently undamaged, arrived at and departed from Hanoi on schedule.
The plane has two British passengers aboard, the Honourable Mark Watson and Mr. A. C. Tully—Reuter.
