Imports from Europe were curtailed in July as a result of the disruption of trade with the German-Occupied areas and with Mediterrancan countries. Receipts from the Urited Kingdom, on the other hand, were 32 per cent. higher than in June and served to limit the reduction in total imports from Europe 10 per cent. Imports from all areas except Europe and from almost all leading countries outside Europe were larger in July than in June a year ago.
