Sin—May I be allowed to add my meed of praise to that ro ably expressed by your reviewer as to the excellence of the performance of "XCDN Calling" now being played at the Lyceum Theatre, is in my opinion the best show that has ever been produced jin Shanghai and everyone irrespective of nationality should put it on his "must" list for he may turn on the green light and go with the complete confidence that itis a five star produc tion with nearly a hundred stars in his troupe of acrobats and artistes would be a first class act in any theatre in the World and is alone worth twice the rice asked for admission, For the rest the beautiful scenery, charming dancers. delightful music' and most effective lighting make it dimeult to believe that this is an amateur show, 'And I feel grateful {o the producers because it makes clear. something which has been puzzling my mind for the last three days namely why Herr Rudolf Hess flew to Britain, If Mr, Hess was. the victim' of hallucinations then in one of his tronces he must have heard the voice democracy and seen a vision of "XCDN Calling" and the call must have been as irresistible to him as it was fo me and as indeed it will be to all who are lucky enough to see it, Shanghai, May 14.
