Imminent Danger

"All that can be done to secure maximum cooperation. between the Government and people of India in the prosecution of the war is of supreme importance these days when the extension of the struggle into Aisa is a more imminent danger than at any time since the armies of the Reich crossed the Polish frontier"

The "Daily Telegraph" writ ready there are indications that this interim policy is obtaining wide acceptance in India. What is of still greater encouragement. is the substantial. growing of the contribution of India to the maintenance of the Allied cause, both in goods and services and not the Jeast signa] part of that' contribution resented by the fighting quality which Indian troops have been showing in more than one theatre of the war. Such comradeship on the battlefield should in itself set an example to create a ense of unity in the pálitical sphere".
