Rumanian Iron Guard Leader Sentenced

Rome, June 17.

M. Horia Sima, Rumanian Iron Guard leader, and his followers who fed abroad with him have been sentenced to hard labour for life in their absence on the charge of having instigated the revolt against Gen. Antonescu's government last January, says a Bucharest despatch to the official Italian news agency.

Prince Chika former Chief of Police, was sentenced to 15 years hard labour and M. Petrovicescu, former Home Minister, to seven years hard labour.

Grecancu, former Foreign Minister and Minister in Berlin, and M. Braileanu, former Minister of Education, were among those acquitted.

M. Sima, who was Gen. Antonescu's Deputy Prime Minister, fled Rumania when the rebellion collapsed, and his whereabouts is still a mystery.—
