Mr. W. N, Eler. diplomatic correspondent of the "Daily Herald." yes. terday in discussing Japan's most likely moves in the Far Egst stated there were some reports Japan was planning to "lease" from Vichy naval and air bases in French Indo-China, including the important harbour at Camranh Bay.
"Those who favour the idea of a southward move seem to expect a sudden announcement of a diploma-tie coup backed simultaneously by the despatch of strong naval and air forces to the newly leased bases," he wrote—United Press.
