Hongkong, Jan. 10. The Chief Justice has sentenced the editor of the "Shipno" to time months hard labour and a fine of 500 for printing alleged seditious articles in which, referring by innuendo to H. E. Yuan Shih-kai, the following passage occurred:
"With. 400,000,000 men to fight single man why should we fear that we may not be able to hang his head on the tai-pak (a long bamboo pole to which a decapitated head is suspended by the hair) or to execute him on. the execution platform sx Louis XIV) was executed."
