Further hunger revolts' have taken place in the Ukraine, according information contained "in Russian news organs, 2 mob consisting. of Peasants" and labourers having! stormed a military warehouse order 0 obtain some of the food supplies stored there.
The district military commander sent troops to quell the disturbance whereupon a pitched battle ensued between the soldiers and peasants [during which 23 persons were killed and over 50 wounded. The peasants Were armed with clubs only.
