Drastic Measures Passed by, Diplomatic Body Peking, Jan. 19.
The Diplomatic Corps to-day. sanctioned the proposals. made by the Shanghai Consular Body that Chinese military men or leaders of political parties residing in the Settlements of Shanghai should. be jeansed to depart from the Settles ments and that measures be taken to prevent them from re-entering the Settlements so that peace order there may be perfectly. mai tained, and immediately notified the Waichiaopu to that effect.
The Diplomatic Corps also decided to notify the Waichiaopu of tha warning recently given by the Shanghai r Body to both yean and Gen, ug that their forces should not be allowed to advanced within rifle ramye of the Settlements of fives and pros gnars living astern News Agency.
