UKE OF WINDSOR AT CHURCH BAZAAR

Accepts Invitation to Open Neuilly Function Paris, Nov. 13.

The Duke and Duchess of Windsor to-day accepted an invitation extended by the Rev. W. H. F. Could-ridge, Vicar of the Christ Anglican Church at Neuilly, to open the Church's bazaar next Saturday. Mr Couldridge apparently was making an informal gesture of goodwill, in answer to the rebuff given the Duke a few days ago by the Mr. Dart of Paris. in connection with an Armistice Day service which the Duke desired to attend.

Formal announcement of the Duke's acceptance will be made on Monday. British residents said the invitation was a demonstration that the colony in Paris does not share Mr. Dart's sentiments.

Mr. Dart admitted to-day that the Bishop of Fulham, his superior, had demanded a statement in connection with the Armistice Day incident—
