The capacity of the unit will be 100 patients and Dr. McGolrick is acting as superintendent, with Dr. Dana 'Nance also rendering services for the children. There are nine qualified nurses who have come from the Red Cross Emergency Hospital number three, which has now closed down. The nurses' quarters are on the top floor, in a large attic which jhas been made comfortable for them.
According to present plans, the hospital will be kept open for five months, when it is believed that the necessity for caring for refugees will be over. If sufficient interested donors are enrolled to support the scheme, it is hoped that the hospital will be kept open to care for poor children who need medical attention.
The remaining founders of the unit are Mr. C. H. Wang, Miss Tso Mei-yuen and Mr. C. L. Sung Mr. K. C. Pao is secretary, Mr. James W. C. Chung is treasurer, and Mx. Charles Sung is business manager.
