Following the rest period, the Loyals resumed to take the offensive and a fine move by Hancock and Pyatt enabled Captain Cole to get his share of the scoring. The Loyal leader netted with a timely volley end increased the count to 5-1. As the match was virtually decided, the winners were seen slackening in their pace, although Hancock and Captain Cole each nearly countered again. The former missed the post by a few inches after having only the goalie to beat while the latter's shot Crecked against the upright and bounced out.
Ten minutes before the final whistle another melee took place in the Loyal goal-mouth which resulted in a second goal for the Germans. Throughout the remaining time no further goals could be produced and the two teams retired with a final tally of 5 to 2.
