Bucharest, July 18.
Late last night an official bulletin about the state of health of Dowager-Queen Marie of Rumania was issued, and it is stated that the Queen's condition had grown worse.
The Dowager-Queen left Dresden on Friday last where she had been undergoing treatment at a sanatorium. She arrived at Cernowitz Saturday, remaining there for twelve hours because the journey had proved very exhausting. Towards nine o'clock yesterday morning the Queen arrived in Sinaia where she was received by King Carol and Crown Prince Michael and the remaining members of the royal family. The Queen was at once conducted to the royal castle of Pelisor.
An examination made by the physicians-in-waiting revealed that the liver complaint had grown more serious and that periodical hemorrage of the stomach had also set in. One of these attacks during the journey from Dresden had necessitated the rest of twelve hours at Cernowitz. The doctors ordered an absolute rest.
It was in the same castle where the Queen-Dowager is now residing that her husband, King Ferdinand, died twelve years ago.—Trans-Ocean. Bucharest, July 18.
The condition of Queen Marie of Rumania is growing worse and little hope remains for her recovery, The members of the Government, Crown-Prince Michael and Princess Elizabeth are at the Queen's bedside.—Havas.
