CCORDING to the monthly returns issued by the Chinese Maritime Customs covering foreign trade in this country, net imports during June, 1938, totalled $71,625,535, as compared with $74,709,292 the month before.
For the period from January to June this year, the total net impo: rts were $444,071,634 as compared with $606,014,935 for the same periòd last year.
Net exports totalled $74,385,898 for tħe month of June, as compared with $57,417,921 the month before.
Net imports for the period from January to June came to $32,605,931 as compared with $482,859,- 251 for the same period during 1937.
