Greater Use.in. Schools Factories Report Shows Milk is apparently becoming a popular drink with workpeople. There are now 7,249 factories which employ more than 2,218,586 workpeople participating in the milk-in-industry scheme; the consumption is at the rate'of 8,500,000 gallons a year, having nearly doubled in 12 months. It is particularly encouraging to note, the annual report of the Milk Publicity Council which states, that by. this Scheme more liquid milk is being (consumed, while there is no adverse effect, as far as can be ascertained, on ordinary retail sales.
