There must be many Daventry listeners who have written verses or songs, or who, perhaps, have a good story to tell. The BBC would like to hear from them and use some of those verses, songs, or stories in "Listener's Corner," a regular item in the Daventry variety feature "Steamboat" A number of contributions from the BBC's listeners overseas and at Home have already been incorporated in "Listener's Corner," and "The Showman," who presides over the revels on the steamship Caroline, wants to give listeners an even better chance of entertaining one ancther. He has already been impressed by the number of poets and budding poets in his listening audience but he wants stories, too— adventure stories, children's stories, dreams that came true—anything, in fact, that might interest other listeners. "The Showman" explains his plans in detail in a forthcoming broadcast of "Steamboat," and he will welcome letters from listeners. Address them: "The Showman," Steamboat Caroline, Broadcasting House, London, England.
