Sin;—With reference to the nuisance at the entrance to Yen Ping Road, which has been the subject of certain correspondence in your columns recently, I note that the authorities have spread some chloride of lime around the locality affected. But this simply is a waste of time and labour. of "Wei Wah" or cash, while the amount insured on the policy is Chinese currency.
I have been told that I could only receive "Wei Wah" or cash with the reduction of a certain amount for the conversion of Wei Wah into local currency.
