Vienna, Nov. 28. There are still 102 Jewish million. aires living in Austria, it was revealed here from statistics gathered at the compulsory registration of Jewish property.
According to these returns, the total value of property owned by all Jews living in Austria is approximately Rin. 2,300,000,000.
Of the 102 Jewish millionaires, 27 own over Rin. 2,500,000 worth of property each, whilst the wealthiest Jew in Austria has a fortune of some Rin. 26,000,000.
No less than 1,366 Jews have registered their property as being worth between Rin. 200,000 and Rin. 1,000,000. Altogether 48,000 Jewish families in Austria have been obliged to register their property, the average value of which is given as Rin. 49,000. Ninety per cent. of these families are domi-filed in Vienna.—Trans-Ocean.
