Father Charles Edward Coughlin, ho tonight bitterly attacked Ameri-n Jewish firms for their alleged support of Communism, said that radio stations WJJD, WIND end WMCA, which did not carry his sermon, "showed very poor intelligence."
Father Coughlin alleged that the reason his sermon, the series of which is broadcast over the nation every Sunday night, was not carried by these three stations "was because they are Jewish-owned stations."
The famed "radio priest," in his weekly Sunday evening broadcast tonight lashed back in furious attack upon persons who criticized his address made lest Sunday.
"They charged me with having made an vu-American speech in defence of Nazism and the Nazi pogroms in Germany," he declared.
"Admittedly I attacked and will continue to attack atheistic Jews and atheistic Gentiles. But I will prove that I actually invited non-Communist and non-atheistic Jews to combine in combatting Communism, and thst I condemned Nazism and the Nazi program,"
