REGISTRATION OF U.S

SECURITIES

Washington, July 30, The Federal Trade Commission today made a ruling that the listing of a security on any United States stock exchange without also registering it with the commission might result in a violation of the Securities Act of 1933.

The ruling of the commission was made in connection with an $8,000, 000 issue of Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit Corporation 15-year six per cent. secured bonds, which were listed on the New York Stock Exchange, but which have not been registered with the commission. United Press.
