Scottish Win Lawn Bowls Game

That -sporting Axture, the annual all-day match between the Shanghai Scottish, S.V.C, Past and Present and the Rest of the Shanghai Lawn Bowls Club, on the SL.BC. greens on Sunday, resulted ina win for the former by the narrowest of margins. In the forenoon the Scot-were down 4 shots, 111-115, but in the afternoon with the thoughts of having to pay for the timm if they lost. Wilson, O.C, of the Shanghai Scottish Company, thanking the Shanghai Lawn Bowls Club, said that they re celebrating their 21st anniversary at their camp on November 16 and 17; the celebration would be held on the 16th, when he hoped they would all attend, Messrs, C, M. Bain and E, O. Cumming thanked W. Glover for his remarks and J. Munro said that the success of functions like the present and the club in general was largely due to. the fact that all the members pulled together,
