The news that the feat had been accomplished was received in Shanghai yesterday morning by the local office of Lloyd Triestino and loud was the rejoicing thereat.

It was stated that the Italian ship was refloated at 9 pin. on Wednesday night and was to be placed in drydock yesterday to undergo repairs to her battered and bruised hull. The exact extent of the Gamages incurred by her being swept onto the rocks of Saiwan Bay by the typhoon which struck the Colony on September 2, had not yet been ascertained.
