Japanese planes bombed three Hopei towns yesterday, according to reports reaching here to-day.
Yesterday morning 28 Japanese machines dropped about 100 bombs over Shihchiachuang, near the Hopei-Shansi border, killing more than 20 person and wounding 30 others, In the afternoon, six planes raided Kaopeitien, a railway town between Paoting and Chochow on the Peiping-Hankow Railway. Scores of bombs Were dropped, but the resultant damage was slight.
