Faultless Game

The second set opened with Wilson playing an almost faultless game and it was when the C.S.F. were leading with a 8-6, score that their opponents changed their tactics and concentrated upon Forbes. This statement does not disparage Forbe's game in any way as he was playing excellently, but being continually played upon, as he was, in such a pacay game, is bound to have an effect. His picking up and deep play were admirable and he also worried his opponents by effectively rushing some servic difficult feet against de Senna.

For the ES F. to retaliate and play upon one of their opponents was impossible, as the latter were changing position inces There were long and exciting throughout the sett. The French Club were leading at 13-11 when the Church took ever the service and ran out.

In the final set with the points at the Church leading, the service changed sides eleven times without an alteration in the score which indicates the tenseness of the play. Afterwards the game slowed down somewhat and the home team crept steadily ahead and finished the game with a score of 15-6.
