Paris, Feb. 13.
An upward trend prevailed on the Paris Bourse throughout the week under review with the majority of issues closing at prices considerably higher than in the previous seven days period.
Political events, such as the German reorganization, the resumption of Italo-British——parleys, were bullishly viewed by traders who showed more confidence in the future of the political situation.
The transfer of funds to the Exchange Equalization Fund and the government's determination to support the Franc were also greeted favourably on the Bourse.
Rentes led the advance in French counters, closely followed by coals, steels, chemicals and rubbers.
Internationals, however, remained irregular throughout the week, owing to the weakness of foreign markets.—(Havas).
