Two of the world's greatest exponents of table tennis, Miklos Szabades and Istvan Helen of Hungaria, are passing through Shanghai on a world tour and arrangements have been made for a series of exhibition matches this afternoon and to-morrow at the Paramount Ballroom. The visitors, will play against each other and against several local players both Chinese and foreign. Today's play will begin at 4 p.m. and to-morrow, the starting hour will be 3 p.m. The prices of admission will be 60 cents and $1.
Having arrived from Japan on Thursday, the pair have arranged to remain in Shanghai until Tuesday when they will sail for Hongkong in continuing their journey around the world. In Japan they aroused a great deal of interest, playing in many cities where they found strong opposition. It is understood that they will also play exhibition matches in Hongkong.
