Outside Negotiations

London, Feb. 3.

Two questions on the Angio-American trade negotiations were answered to-day by the President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Oliver Stanley, in the House of Commons.

Mr. Stanley told one member that, while currency stability and the level of world commodity prices were am-doubtedly matters of great importance. they were not appropriate for a trade agreement and, therefore, were not being taken into consideration in the negotiations between the London and Washington Governments.

He informed another questioner that he had had information and representations from every industry in Britain which so far as he could tell, would possibly be covered by any negotiations—Wireless through Reuter.
