Italians Leave Spain 350 Aviators Embark After Farewell Banquet

Cadiz, June 10.

More than 350 Italian airmen who took part in the Spanish War embarked today aboard the Duilio bound for Italy.

A farewell banquet was given to the aviators by the Cadiz Municipal Council. In the speech he delivered on that occasion, Colonel Guglielmatti, commander of the Italian Pursuit Division in Spain, declared that Italy had taken wholeheartedly pert in "Spain's struggle against communism" and that the bodies of more than 4,000 Italian legionaries remain as a witness of the close links uniting new Spain with Fascist Italy.

The Italian airmen are accompanied on their trip home by a Spanish delegation headed by General Kindelan.—Havas.
