Bombed Japanese naval aircraft displayed vast activity in north, central, and south China as last week neared its end, a communique issued yesterday afternoon by the Japanese China Seas Fleet revealed.
Ca-operating with Army forces engaged in operations aimed at clearing southern Shantung of Chinese troops, Navy aeroplanes on Thursday and Friday subjected Chinese positions near Chuhsien and Shihkiuso to intensive attacks, while Chinese troop concentrations at Kwanshwaichen and Taihsienchen were dispersed as a result of machine gun and bomb attacks, the announcement said.
